AI visibility audit for industrial suppliers

When buyers ask an AI for a supplier, does it name you?

Engineers and purchasers increasingly start with ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity or Google’s AI Overviews. The audit shows which of their questions name your company, which name your competitors instead, why, and what to change first.

One-time payment. A private link and PDF, ready in about 30 minutes. No access to your site needed.

The blind spot

A sales channel your analytics can’t see.

Answers, not links

An assistant replies with three or four supplier names. If you aren’t one of them, the buyer never reaches your website, and nothing shows up in your reports.

Competitors named instead

Assistants recommend the companies whose websites they can read and understand. That isn’t always the best supplier, and it changes as competitors adapt their sites.

Often fixable in days

The causes are usually specific: a firewall that turns AI crawlers away, product text that only loads with JavaScript, a missing English page. Once you know them, most are quick to fix.

What’s in the report

Around 20 pages, for the people who decide and the people who fix.

Every finding is backed by something we measured: a test on your site, an assistant’s answer or a competitor’s site. Your web team or agency gets concrete fixes; you get the picture and the priorities.

Can AI crawlers get in?

Each AI crawler tested against your robots.txt and your server, because a firewall can block what robots.txt allows.

Questions people ask first

How is this different from an SEO audit?

An SEO audit looks at how Google ranks your pages. This audit asks whether AI assistants name and recommend your company when buyers ask, and what stops them. It also covers the technical basics that matter to both, such as crawler access, page speed and structured data.

Which assistants do you test?

ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity, through their APIs with live web search on, and Google’s AI Overviews and search results. API answers are close to what people see in the apps, but not identical.

How do you choose the questions and competitors?

From your own website: your products, applications and markets. The questions are written the way a buyer would ask, including questions that don’t mention you. The report lists every question and explains why each competitor was included.

Will the results be the same tomorrow?

Not exactly. Assistants’ answers change from day to day and as websites change. The report records what they said on the day of the audit, and the appendix explains how every number was made. Running it again after your changes shows what moved.

Do you need access to our website or analytics?

No. We only read public pages, the way an AI agent does. Nothing on your site is changed.

Can I share it with my team or agency?

Yes. It’s a private link that anyone you send it to can open, plus a PDF. It isn’t listed anywhere or indexed by search engines.
