Terms of service

These terms apply to FactoryFox: the website getfactoryfox.com, its API, the FactoryFox MCP server and plugins (together, the service), operated by Monemetrics OÜ, Sepapaja 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia ("we"). By using the service you agree to them. If you use it for a company, you agree for that company.

The service

FactoryFox is a directory of industrial suppliers. It shows information about companies with the source of each fact, and lets you search it in plain language, including through AI assistants. The service is free to use. We may change, limit or stop any part of it.

Information is not verified unless we say so

Most information comes from public sources and automated extraction, and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. AI-generated answers, rankings and match scores are estimates. A listed certification, capability or product is a claim with its source, not a guarantee. Check what matters with the supplier before you rely on it. We don't take part in any dealings between you and a supplier.

Acceptable use

Don't use the service to break the law, send spam or unsolicited bulk messages to the companies listed, harvest contact details, or interfere with the service. Don't bypass rate limits or access controls, or copy substantial parts of the directory to build a competing database. Reading individual profiles, including through the JSON pages, API and MCP server, is welcome. When you show FactoryFox information to others, link to the profile it came from.

Accounts

Keep your sign-in secure and your details accurate. You're responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Supplier terms

These apply when you claim or edit a company profile.

You confirm you are authorised to act for the company and that what you submit is accurate and lawful.
You allow us to host, index, transform (for example translate, summarise or categorise) and display the business information you submit, and to make it available through the website, API, MCP server and AI assistants, so buyers can find the company. This permission lasts while the information is on FactoryFox and ends when you remove it, except for copies in backups and records we keep for legal reasons.
Information you submit is marked as provided by the company. We may edit or remove submissions that are misleading, unlawful or break these terms.
Companies that haven't claimed their profile can still ask us to correct or remove information at privacy@getfactoryfox.com.

Our rights

The service, its software, design and the directory as a compilation belong to us. Company names, logos and website content belong to their owners.

Links to other sites

Profiles link to company websites and other sources, which we don't control. Links leaving FactoryFox may carry a utm_source tag so the site owner can see the visit came from us.

Liability

The service is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or decisions made using information from the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health, or your rights as a consumer.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version, and we'll tell account holders about significant changes by email. You can stop using the service and ask us to close your account at any time.

Law and disputes

Estonian law applies, and disputes go to the courts of Estonia (Harju County Court in Tallinn), unless the law of the country where you live as a consumer gives you other mandatory rights. Questions: privacy@getfactoryfox.com.
