Das auf PFPE-basierende Hochtemperaturfett hält den Temperaturen stand, die aufgrund der hohen Stomstärken an den Reibflächen der Kontakte entstehen. Die bei z.B. Dauerhaft wird so die Leitfähigkeit über die Kontaktoberflächen sichergestellt. Darüberhinaus bildet das inerte Schmierfett einen Schutz vor schadhaften Verunreinigungen, die sich in die Oberfläche einbrennen und den Kontaktwiderstand erhöhen. Durch den integrierten UV-Indikator lässt sich die Applikation des Schmierstoffes auf der zu schmierenden Kontaktfläche kontrollieren.
